Test automation services
Automated tests,
without the automation team.
Test automation services hand the whole job to someone else: choosing the framework, writing the tests, running them in CI, and fixing them when the UI moves. Bug0 does it with one named engineer working on an AI engine, so you get the suite without hiring for it.
Built on Passmark, our open-source Playwright library for AI testing.
Buying a tool is not the same as buying automation
Most of the market sells software. You license a platform, and your engineers still have to learn it, write the tests in it, and repair them every time a button moves. The bill arrives whether or not anyone had time to use it.
That is the gap test automation services fill. The vendor owns the work, not just the software. Which raises the only question worth asking a vendor: who actually writes the tests, and who is accountable when one breaks at 2am?
What are test automation services?
Definition
Test automation services are an arrangement where an outside team builds and maintains your automated test suite. The vendor selects the framework, authors the tests, runs them in your pipeline, repairs them when the application changes, and reports the results. You buy the working suite rather than the software used to build it.
The same offer is sold under several names. QA automation services, automation testing services, automated testing services and software test automation services all describe this, and vendors rarely mean anything different by them. The differences that matter are in the table below.

What Bug0 automates
Coverage is built around the flows that cost you money when they break, not around whatever is easiest to script.
Sign-up and authentication, including SSO and role-based access. Checkout, subscriptions, refunds and anything touching payment. Search, filtering and the paths users take most. Admin and internal tooling, which usually has no tests at all. Then the long tail of regressions that only matter once they have broken in front of a customer.
Tests run as smoke checks on every pull request and as full regression packs nightly, inside your CI, with logs, screenshots and video attached to every failure. For the specific test types, see end-to-end testing, regression testing and functional testing services.
Self-healing is only half the answer
Every automation vendor now advertises self-healing tests, and the feature is real. When a selector changes, the engine finds the element again and the test keeps passing.
The part nobody advertises is what happens when the thing that changed was a bug. A suite that heals around a genuine break passes while checking nothing, and you find out from a customer. So on Bug0 the engine heals the test and your engineer confirms the heal was correct. That confirmation is the difference between a green suite and a suite you can trust.
There is more on how to judge a vendor's claim in our guide to self-healing test automation, and on picking a framework in regression testing tools.

What you get every week
A suite that runs on every pull request and gates merges. Bugs filed with repro steps, video and network logs, already triaged by a person. A weekly digest covering coverage, pass rate, flake rate and whatever is blocking. And one named engineer in your Slack who knows your product.
If you are weighing this against hiring, or against an offshore vendor billing by the hour, the comparison is on our managed testing services page.
